Monterey, California Sleep Consultant

If you have a little one who isn’t sleeping well, you’ve become well-acquainted with the sleepless nights, the stress, and the guilt that comes with it.

I know because I’ve been there.

After I had my first child, I anticipated some difficulty around sleeping, but I never expected it to be so hard. Before long, it was putting a strain on my entire life, from my marriage to my physical and mental health.

Now let me say that I in no way blamed this on my little guy or regretted a single thing. I knew it wasn’t his fault (I more often assumed it was mine), but I had to be honest about how much tension it was causing in our household. And then I had to find a solution.

Luckily, I did, and it completely changed our lives. Not only was my baby sleeping through the night and taking restful naps throughout the day, but it allowed me and my husband to get more sleep ourselves and spend time together.

After realizing how powerful getting sleep help was, I decided to become a sleep consultant myself, and I’ve now helped hundreds of parents get the sleep they and their little ones so desperately need. If you’d like to learn how I’ve done it – and how I can help you – get in touch and we’ll chat, totally free of charge. Trust me, getting back to proper amounts of sleep will make a world of difference in your life!

Monterey Sleep Consulting Services

It’s important to understand upfront that every baby is different in how they relate to sleep. I’ve talked to so many parents – and was one myself – who thought that by harnessing the power of the world wide web, I could easily find a solution myself.

But alas, some things seem to work, others don’t, and in the end you find yourself even more frustrated and hopeless than you were before.

That’s why working with someone like myself is so valuable. I get to you know you and your little one on a personal level, which allows me to create a plan that is customized to your unique situation, taking into account everything from your child’s sleep habits to her personality and your parenting style.

That said, as a sleep consultant in Monterey, CA, my packages are grouped primarily according to age, since children of different ages go through different developmental changes that impact how they approach sleep.

Newborns

A lot of times when children aren’t sleeping well it’s because they have developed bad habits. The good thing about working with newborns is that they don’t have any! At the same time, they’re light sleepers and have no idea how to self-soothe, which can make it difficult for parents to know if they’re doing things right. I’ll make sure you know what to expect and how to set your baby up for sleeping success.

Babies

As babies get older, their sleep usually starts to become more consistent. Nevertheless, problems often arise in what are known as “regressions.” However, the problem is often because the babies’ sleep is changing as their bodies grow, affecting how they sleep. Nevertheless, it’s easy to get derailed and struggle to figure out how to get back on track.

Toddlers

As you can imagine, toddlers can be a tad difficult. They might still be adjusting to sleeping throughout the night, especially as they become more independent. Sometimes, this can cause rebelliousness around bedtime, which quickly has an effect on everyone’s sleep. But the best solution is usually to work with them, setting a calming environment around their sleep to help them not see it as the enemy.

VIP Sleep Experience

For parents who want more hands-on help, my VIP plan might be a good fit. Beyond everything included in my other packages, I’ll also come to your house to walk you through a bedtime routine suited for your little one. I’ll also provide you with a full year of follow-up support to guarantee that I’ll be there for you when you ever have problems or questions.

Adults

Whether you’ve always been a bad sleeper or have fallen into bad sleep habits because of a work change or anything else, getting to a healthy place with your sleep is a really important goal. While it sounds easy to DIY through the internet and a little self-discipline, I’ve found that getting an outside perspective and a plan that you’re committed to stick to can make all the difference in the world.
